Self-Reliant Living

At The Mycelium School, students will learn how to grow their own food, build their own living spaces, refine their values and value-defining process as they effectively share their ideas with each other.  The school will foster this process as participants become the architects of their lives.

Self-reliance isn’t so much about acquiring specific skill sets as much as it is about approaching life with courage and confidence.  As students realize they can take care of core elements of their lives, they begin to go beyond what they once believed they were capable of.  As we develop self-reliance, we refine our ability to make life choices with clarity and focus and thus take control over our life’s design.  As we assume this responsibility, we  increase our freedom, potential and opportunity.
