The program is composed of three interconnected modules that may be taken together or individually. They are as follows:
Module 1: Journey of Self
April – July, 18 Weeks
This intensive semester is designed to flesh out who the participant is at the core so that whether they go on to college or a livelihood, they will do so guided by refined values and intention. This process involves an interdisciplinary approach designed for the student to explore who they are, who they aren’t and determine core values. The goal of this semester is to create a strong foundation to build a life upon.
Module 2: Passport to Global Citizenship
August – December, 18 Weeks
As students develop understandings of the life systems within which they live (ecological, cultural, economic, etc), they will learn of their intrinsic connection while developing the capacity to affect these systems toward personal, social and environmental benefit.
Module 3: Dream Lab – Bringing Social Enterprise to Life
April – December, 36 Weeks
The 21st Century requires social entrepreneurs to meet the unfolding needs of a rapidly emerging society. The Dream Lab is designed to provide the hard skill development needed to evolve passion into social impact as the students develop an enterprise that holds a social, spiritual, environmental and financial bottom line. At the year’s end the student will have a well articulated business plan and a clear understanding of what is needed to bring their idea to life out in the world.
Postgraduate Consulting
While each student will receive a comprehensive education that will give them the tools to bring an idea to life out in the world, we believe it is critical the student maintain accountability to their vision. In order to foster social impact through the student’s creations, the school will pair each participant with an appropriate mentor that will collaborate with the student post graduation in such areas as personal goal setting, activity prioritization, financial counseling, continuing education consulting and deepening organizational support networks. This relationship will continue for up to three years or until the social enterprise reaches sustainability.
